Guest Bio
Joseph T. Stuart, PhD, serves as Program Chair of History and is a founding faculty member and Fellow of Catholic Studies at the University of Mary. In addition to earning a PhD in modern intellectual history from the University of Edinburgh, he holds an MLitt in modern history from the University of St. Andrews and a Bachelor of Arts in Humanities and Catholic Culture from the Franciscan University of Steubenville. His scholarly interests concern the relation between religion and culture in modern history, and he has drawn inspiration from the work of English cultural historian Christopher Dawson.
