Ep. #89 – Can the Kalam Work on B-theory? w/ Curtis Metcalfe
Summary
Does the Kalam Cosmological argument depend on the A-theory of time? Is it possible that it can also work on B-theory? In this episode, Curtis Metcalfe defends a version of the Kalam argument granting a B-theory of time. We also discuss some objections that have been leveled at the Kalam argument.
Guest Bio

Great show! By the “presentism problem” that you talk about in the end, do you mean by that the view that the kalām argument is only possible on presentism? Because your guest argued that the kalām works on the B theory too…. sorry maybe I misunderstood you
Ouh, I am sorry… at the end you said what you mean by the presentism problem, so forget what I wrote above….. it’s actualy an interesting objection (I myself hold to the B-theory but I will think about this)
