Guest Bio
Matt Nelson is the Assistant Director of the Word on Fire Institute. He holds a Doctor of Chiropractic (D.C.) degree from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in Toronto, and a Bachelor of Education degree from the University of Regina. He is currently pursuing an M.A. in philosophy from Holy Apostles College and Seminary. He’s also the author of Just Whatever: How to Help the Spiritually Indifferent Find Beliefs That Really Matter (Catholic Answers Press, 2018). He currently resides in Saskatchewan, Canada with his wife, Amanda, and their three children.

In the first segment, Matt Nelson explains why people should care about God. He also provides an overview of the content and structure of his book Just Whatever.
In the next segment, Matt tackles three big objections that an indifferent person might hold. These include 1) the hiddenness problem 2) the assertion that Jesus is just one religious leader among many and 3) who would want to belong to a Church full of sexual predators.
In the final segment, Matt discusses why he finds Catholicism to be the fullness of the faith. He argues that the Catholic worldview is unique in its possession of unity of Truth, union with Christ, and unity of Church.
